Privacy Policy
Effective Date: August 18, 2026
1. Who We Are
This website is operated by The Banff Practice Inc., a corporation incorporated under the federal laws of Canada with its principal place of business in Toronto, Ontario. This policy describes how we handle information collected through thebanffpractice.com, in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy law, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
2. What We Collect
This website has no user accounts. We collect only:
- Inquiry form submissions: the contact details and message you provide.
- Aggregate site analytics: we run Umami, a self-hosted, cookieless analytics tool, on our own infrastructure. It collects aggregate page-view statistics; it does not use cookies, does not track you across sites, and sends nothing to third-party analytics companies.
We use no advertising trackers, and we do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use inquiry information to respond to your inquiry and to conduct any business relationship that follows from it. We do not add you to marketing lists.
4. What It Lives and Who Processes It
Inquiry submissions are stored on our servers hosted by OVHcloud in Beauharnois, Québec, Canada. Confirmation and notification emails are delivered via Resend, whose processing occurs in the United States. Our sites are fronted by Cloudflare, which processes network traffic metadata to provide security and delivery. Analytics are self-hosted; no analytics data leaves our infrastructure.
5. Retention
We keep inquiry submissions for as long as they remain relevant to your inquiry or the resulting relationship, and we delete them on request.
6. Security
We apply technical and organizational measures appropriate to the information we hold. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
7. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may opt out of communications from us at any time, by contacting [email protected].
8. Changes to This Policy
Updates are posted on this page with a revised effective date.
